Research Interests

I’m currently working on deep learning approaches to linguistic acceptability (grammaticality) judgments.

Recently, I built the Corpus of Linguistic Acceptability (CoLA), a corpus of 10657 examples sentences with acceptability judgments from the linguistics literature. You can access CoLA here: https://nyu-mll.github.io/CoLA/

I am also working on the meaning of the English particle just, and semantic theories of dialogue.

My syntactic research proposes a Categorial Grammar approach to a class of discontinuous coordinations in English phenomenon known as Right-Node Wrapping.
